Here is a general timeline of the more prominent steps in our journey:
**January 8, 2013 - We received a referral!! After initial review, decided to move further in review of the referral:-)
**February 6, 2012 - Our Log-In Date (LID)! (our dossier has been reviewed and registered so we are now in the system for waiting to be matched with a child)
**April 2012 - February 2013 - Completed home study paperwork and dossier paperwork
**March 17, 2012 - We had our orientation meeting with the PA Director of Social Services for America World.
**February 16, 2012 - America World notified us that we were accepted into the China program!
**Beginning of February 2012 - We sent our application to America World.
**November 12, 2011 - We attended an America World seminar in Maryland - it turned out to be a pivotal moment in our journey - it was clear to both of us after this seminar that the Lord was leading us to adopt a little girl from China, one classified as a "waiting"child (having a form of special need).
